PDQ# Trek Character Creation (work in progress)

Well, the first test run of the PDQ# Rules, voice vote carried unanimously to switch all of our stories to the new rules.

I like the "Expertise" and "Fleet Expertise" naming convention.

I have a question about a rule change between the free PDQ# rules and those given in S7S, namely, that the free rules give (4) additional fortes, whereas the S7S rules give (3). Do you know why the divergence?

The difference is easy to explain. In S7S (and in my PDQ# Trek mod) one of the "extra" fortes is slotted into the Nationality (or species/culture) slot. So, the characters still have the same number of slots, just one more is a dedicated one in S7S.

Ahh! And Ooops!
The character sheet I put together for Peridian added the Nationality forte but didn't reduce the four extra.

"I was blinded by Ephemera!"

I'll have to consult my group and determine which to pull.
