Yesterday (day two of PhilCon) was great fun. I met some excellent people in the dealers' room (some of them even bought Fur-Face).

My 1st chapter critique was an interesting, and overall positive experience. If they do it again next year, I highly recommend it. I learned a lot, but more on that another time.

Last night, I took part in the GSHW

I'm glad the reading went well. I wish I had known. It's best to read with a group the first few times. (You get to think "heck, I did better than that!")

I was surprised how many folks came to listen (I'd say there were about twenty people in the room, including the readers themselves), especially since we were left off the official program, and weren't even listed on the notice outside the door.

Luckily, we'd made a bunch of flyers and told everyone it was an 'exclusive' event :)

Had a great time hanging out Jon. Sadly, my recording of the reading only managed to get about the first 10 seconds of Dani speaking, then it just cut out. Ah well. I guess it'll just have to remain one of those: You had to be there events.
