Yesterday Arlene, Alyse, and I went to see the new movie Les Miserables with Hugh Jackman.  I have been hearing a lot of hype over it and it was all true.  The movie is fabulous.  It brought tears to my eyes and the singing was fantastic!  The scenery was awesome too.

So yesterday I saw The Perks of Being a Wallflower.  It brought tears to my eyes and the ending made me feel good.  I really enjoyed it for being a teenager angst movie.  I was surprised on how many stars were in it that I recognized.

So last night I went and saw a movie at Trop Cinemas and saw Here Comes the Boom with Kevin James. It was hilarious.  I'm not a big fan of sports movies and had seen way too many of the underdog-good feely-comeback type sport movies.  But Kevin James made all the difference and this one just cracked me up laughing.  He made it work!

So this morning Jesse and I went to a free pre-screening for the movie Rise of the Guardians.  I didn't know this was in 3D so it surprised me a bit.  I was a bit worried that it would be ruined, but it wasn't.  This is a great film and actually the 3D made it better.  I tend to stay away from 3D but this movie didn't have anything flying at me ( Read more... )

So yesterday was productive and busy.  I had intended to just pull out the boxes of Halloween stuff. I not only pulled them out but emptied them and decorated the house.  Yay, so that's done.

Then I went to Trop Cinema and saw Brave.  That is a great movie.  I like her strength and love of family and especially her hair.  I want her hair!

I finally saw The Avengers last night.  Now I know what all the hoopla was about and can understand the references.  It is a pretty awesome movie that I could watch again sometime.  Although Superman could beat them all hands down even if he does have the worst disguise ever!

A salesperson for a competting company came to my door to try to sell me cable.  After they left I told on them to my current company.  They came out to give me a newer DVR that holds more channels.  The man set it up differently and now I have to learn the new layout.  It's taking time to get use to so I went to the movies and saw Dark Shadows ( Read more... )
