On June 2nd Cody and I spent four hours at the church fireworks stand.  We stayed from 4-8 pm.  We gossiped with others, and read, and ate ice cream.  There was a kiddie pool to stick our feet into with a clump of ice floating in it for awhile.  It felt so good.  We didn't have any sales until just before we left.  Fireworks are expensive!

So all my presents are bought.  All my baking goods are bought for the rest of my 25 days of christmas baking.  So proud of myself for not missing any yet.  The house is decorated.  All the kiddies are home!  All that is left is the tree which hopefully is today after work.  Also need to find the stocking stuffers though there are no actual kids ( Read more... )

Just a small update to say that there's really no update to report.  I am baking tons of cookies and cakes for Christmas.  I have finished decorating and hopefully will get my tree tomorrow.  Jules comes home Saturday or should since she's on stand-bye for a flight that day.  I am loving my job at the library!  I still need a few gifts to buy.  I ( Read more... )
