I've officially graduated from an emo to a hippy. The hardest part is being a vegetarian. I ate a crappy school salad today and it tore apart my insides. I'm going to get protein and vitamin supplements tonight, so I don't end up with my muscles in a wad. Our band performed its first song on New Year's Eve for our church (just about 30 people). It was a lot of fun! The other day my Dad came in with a medium-sized square package and asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I immediately said an electric guitar. I just saw Napolean Dynomite, and I love it so much! It's not about the directing, or even the script; it's just so character driven. Even when it's not being funny (which is rare), it's hard to not pay attention because the actors are so good and the characters are so fascinating in a weird sort of way. I awoke to the sound of my sister screaming 'THE APARTMENT'S FLOODED' in my ear. I had to get up in the cold winds of morning to check it out, and found out that, indeed, the small building in our front yard had flooded so bad from a leak that the water was at least two inches high. Brrr, I just went outside to take the trash out, and I can't believe how cold it is! Even with all of the snow it's hard to imagine how it feels. I can't wait until Spring.
