Out of all the Avengers comic books I've read (not that very many, I admit), Loki hadn't been the villain in any of them. Therefore, I didn't know much of what to expect other than the fact that, for Marvel, Loki is a villain. Yay, Loki! And oh, the brotherly angst. No one has worse family issues than gods, except for maybe the Winchesters.

And I do love that story about retrieving Thor's hammer, if I'm thinking of the right one.

LOL you're right, what *is* it with gods and family issues? (but yeah the Winchesters are pretty much up there too)

It probably is, if it's the one where Thor has to dress in women's clothes and pretend to be a bride. :P

Hee, yes, that's the one. Some people speculate there's a little reference to that story in the Thor movie when the frost giant says something like "Run along home, little princess" to Thor.

OOOOH that makes perfect sense! And it was the Frost Giants who had stolen the hammer too, wasn't it? If I remember correctly?

haha, now I want to see that story written! (though I wonder, considering that only Thor can wield his hammer, how on Asgard did the giants manage to steal it...)
