Captain America

Can't say he ever held my interest outside of the Avengers, but within the team he just fits, and is pretty awesome.

Also, I was upset when Chris Evans got the part, because he'd already been the Human Torch - quite well, too - and you can't have the same actor portray two characters in the same universe, it messes with my sense of continuity! But ( Read more... )

Nice drawing.
I was kind of upset that he got Cap too because I thought he was the best part of the FF but I agree he makes a great Cap. Besides they are rebooting FF (so I've heard) so he won't have to play opposite himself. Which would actually have been pretty funny

thanks! :D

Yeah the Torch was my fave too, I really didn't like it when they announced Captain America! But he's a good actor and he can play them completely dissimilar, so I forgive them.

As for the reboot on Fantastic Four, aargh, don't remind me. What *is* with Marvel and reboots of perfectly nice films? Ok, the FF didn't do that well at the box office, I know that, but still. It was *good*. There hasn't been enough time past for me to be able to see the faces of new actors as the faces of the characters!
(and I won't even mention Spiderman, which was highly successful and I love it and WHY are they rebooting it?)

Sony is rebooting spide- man so that they don't lose the rights to the character. Why they felt the need to go back to the origin story I have no idea. I am so sick of origin stories! Honestly 70 years of comics and the moives can't seem to move beyond origin stories. I heard that they might reboot batman ...again. Which means another origin story - just shoot me. I have very little interest in seeing the new spidey.

As for FF, I didn't care for either movie. I actually would welcome a new cast but please lets not do the origin sotry again!

yes! exactly! make as many Spiderman films as you want, people - change the actors - just pick up from where the other films left off, seriously! it's the retelling of the origin story that annoys me, too!

also, wtf, they *can't* reboot Batman, the last part of the Nolan trilogy isn't even out yet!

He was the Human Torch, OMG, I thought he just looked a lot like the other guy (I never saw Fantastic Four so I just faintly remembered his face from the trailer). That is weird that they would have him play two people in the same universe.

And the art looks great :)

thank you! :D

re:Human Torch - I know, right? Especially because I *loved* the Torch, so when it was announced, I was like, no no no no! :P
But at least the characters are completely dissimilar, and he's a good actor so he does play them completely differently. At least there's that. :P
