I finally got Nvidia to play nice with Ubuntu 8.10 and am now fine tuning things. -
My Computer from Darwin Day to Valentine's
On the morning of the twelfth, I turned on my computer. After logging in to Ubuntu, the computer, instead of going to my desktop, started working like crazy and just hung on the in-between screen. I was able to get drive fixed it seems. going to be on the look out for any files that weren't repaired.
NOTE: my previous post about being on the live cd ubuntu was made about 5 hours earlier than it says. The live cd was on UTC.
