I can't believe it's been that long since I posted. Man. And stuff's been happening, too.

So it's only eight hours a week, on Saturday from 10PM to 7AM. For minimum wage.

But it's work.

Also, I seem to be good at it, so I might get more nights and maybe a bit more per hour somewhere down the road.

It won't be enough to get me operating in the black again, but it'll help.

Has it really been four months since I last posted?

Yes, I said I had temp work. Turned out to be just four hours of temp work. And there's been nothing since. Not one damn thing.

I guess I've been a little preoccupied with trying to survive.

On the plus side, I've learned all the words to "21 Guns" by heart...

It's a temp assignment, but it's work.

R.I.P. John Lennon. I still remember that morning. I was getting dressed, and I turned on my radio. It came on just as the last few measures of Starting Over were playing, and I knew -- somehow just flat-out knew -- that something terrible had happened. To this day I still don't know how.
