Hey, thanks to the doctors for getting that knife out. Lemme know if there's something I can do to help--uh, once this heals all the way. [aaaand he opens the door. He's already gotten some of the swiss chocolate ready, since he's pretty sure Mello came for that. Two chocolate bars offered in his right hand; he's stuffed the injured left hand in a jacket pocket.]

[he grins at Mello's comment and takes one end of the scarf in his good end, at the same time holding the bars out to take. Opens the door wider in case Mello wants to come in.] Yeah, she's a girl. The stores around here really aren't helpful when you're looking for shit in particular.

It's lucky we even have stuff in the stores, I guess...they could use some improvement, though.

[Well, that lowers the likelihood of this guy being the KIRA he knows even further. He wasn't really hopeful that this was a lead, but having it confirmed at least helps him relax the tiniest bit.]
