A new game has begun...

... and we've already gotten into a fight (surprised?).  But we vanquished our foes and none of us are dead because I'm actually playing someone useful.  Kember is a Cleric (my first time ever playing a spellcaster) and queleb and ktbee are using the shit out of my healing spells.  But then, that's what Clerics are for, right?

Yes, Clerics are there solely to heal the idiots who charge into battle... or throw nasty spells at opponents... or sneak around and miss the trap... *eyeroll* Okay, not that bad :D I like playing a Cleric, personally - though being a Cleric of Tyr (God of Justice) is amusing at times... :P

My brother wanted to be evil something, and we were all like, "Umm, dude? The good Cleric will _kill_ you."

We seem to have figured out a good system. In the last game, I was the distraction while her archer took pot shots at whoever I was fighting. Now she goes in there to mix it up, and I just hide behind her with my hand constantly on her back, pouring out the Heal.
