Today has been a most excellent day :) I went to bed last night at about 20:30, which was ridiculously early, but I felt a lot better for getting the extra sleep. That meant that I was able to get up early for college this morning without too much trouble

I'd be inclined to go for (b) and (c) myself. (a) is too long ago to be relevant to your current abilities, whereas both (b) and (c) have knowledge/experience of what you can do now.

Thanks - I think you're right. Also, when I've had references from my teacher and my boss in the past, they've showed me what they wrote, which was very flattering, whereas I don't know what my old professor is saying...

However, it says on the notes for the form that you need to request approval to submit an employment reference instead of an academic reference, so I need to clear it with the MSc staff first. Fingers crossed...
