Ok, my comic is now basically finished (at least in this incarnation), so I enclose the whole thing here, i.e. the two previous pages and the two new pages, along with a bit more commentary.

As I mentioned earlier, I bought a new drawing pen earlier: a Staedtler pigment liner 0.8 (I assume that last number is the diameter in cm mm, since there were similar pens numbered 0.7 and 0.9). It works very well, so it was much easier to ink these two pages than the previous two, and the pictures seemed to scan better too. In fact, the original scan (without speech bubbles) was much clearer than the lettered version, which bodes well for the future.

One minor problem with the comic in pages 2 and 3 is that the conversation effectively goes from right to left (based on the sides of the bed). This was unfortunate, but I couldn't really see a way around it, unless I did some kind of "rear view". That wouldn't be too bad if the furniture was in the middle of the room (like the sofa in the "Friends" coffee shop), but it would seem a bit weird if I'd effectively created a transparent wall.

Regarding the speech bubbles, I redid a few of them when I realised that the "tails" were in the wrong place. I probably should have redone the final one on page 3 too, but hopefully it's clear enough by that stage as to who's speaking, and since it was the longest bubble I was less enthusiastic about redoing it (sorry).

The architecture on page 4 is a bit weird - the building seems to morph between being a house and a bungalow. So, just think of it as some kind of TARDIS effect... Still, I do like the final pose. The proportions are probably a bit off, but I did make an effort to get the posture vaguely correct.

Thanks to sammoore for the kind words on IRC - if anyone else has flattery or (constructive) criticism that they'd like to send my way, then feel free :) In particular, if you can't read the speech bubbles then I can post a transcript.
