Sadly, I already knew what an inverse feature wall is! Clearly, I have spent way too long reading paint catalogues...

Darn - I actually thought that was an original term I'd made up that would confuse people :)

I suggest that the best way to make your hallway seem longer is to use a wider-angle lens. You could also equip your visitors with special glasses to give the same effect.
