California does not allow the National Guard college money in addition to GI bill college money.

The 9/11 GI Bill will refund, it states, any money for "kickers" if you ever use up all the payable allowances from the bill.

I am in a high-COLA high-tuition situation.

I served four years from 2004-2008.

The BAH for my area is worth over one hundred dollars more, a month, than the -GI BILL alone-. Not factoring in the tuition that I have to pay out of pocket, which they will now take care of.

Thanks, but this is good for me, if it works.

I can't find any supporting evidence that my current GI Bill is -deducting time- from the 9/11 GI Bill. In fact, everything seems to support the opposite - that the 9/11 GI Bill overrides it, and 36 months of coverage under the 9/11 GI Bill starts the second I use it, irregardless of my prior GI Bill.

Can you show me anything that says that? Everything on the va.gov page seems to point to the exact opposite situation.
