You know, I think I've RPd with someone who has fibromyalgia, but we RPd so much I totally forgot she actually had it. We just got into our story that we did. I want to help the cause but here's what I'm wondering - while I think it's definitely important to raise awareness, I wonder if that's the best way donations could be spent? Would it not be better if they went to help the actual patients in some way?

The donations don't go towards spreading awareness, they go towards research and finding a cure, which will help the patients...I'm a fibromyalgia sufferer myself and I volunteer at this charity, hence what the post is about. I don't get paid and won't because all donations are going towards a research project
