i got up at 7:30 this morning and took a 3 hour trip down to eastern washington. ellensburg - or the gorge, the cave b inn/winery next to the gorge. with my awesome chamber buddies julia and annika. im glad i didnt have to drive. i dont think anyone should have to make that 6 hour round trip at once. it turns your legs to lead and is too tiring for

Yay for Kairos. The thing is, it's not like there's going to be a lot of time to be bored. I mean, you rehearse a bunch of hours a day, practice, three meals, masterclass/workshop things, swimming (I hope), hanging out with people. Just look at the schedule on their website. At Icicle, we had plenty of down time, but honestly, I was never bored! Unless you vow to be a hermit and never speak to anyone, I doubt you will be either. I'm looking forward to living out there for a couple weeks...so beautiful!
