Great! Kevin is awake! But he seems to be afraid of Scotty; why? Can't wait for the continuation! :)

I see kevin's current reaction, which will be worked through in the next section, as a general fear over his situation, which he has yet to fully understand and come to terms with. Scotty becomes a focal point of working that through and anger and hostility aimed at him is as an easy target for Kevin's fear over what is happening, because he is available and close.

So the next section is unlikely to be much happier.
