So I know a lot of you have been wondering how I've been doing up here, and I know I suck at calling people and keeping in touch. By the time I think of it, its either too late, too early, or I quickly forget.  So here are a few bullet points....

I am coming home on Friday or Saturday, October 6 or 7 and will be staying until the following Tuesday

I was actually talking about you yesterday. There's a pic of you and me on one of my folders, and someone walked by and said they went to school with you. I can't remember who it was, but it made me think of you nonetheless!

Ooh, I really like the Whitacre piece. I like most of his stuff, though. And we played the Persichetti piece in Wind Symphony in spring '03, I think. It was a fun piece. Come to think of it, the only piece we've ever played (in UA Wind Symphony) that I just HATED was Music for Prague 1968 by Karel Husa. I really wanted to burn every copy of it. God help us if Warren puts it on the docket to play again.

I hope your having a fantabulous time in Kentucky! That was one of the places Tyler and I considered in our quest for higher education.

I was re-reading some of your entries and an idea occured to me...since Louisville isn't very far from Evansville...what would you think about a chapter retreat for both chapters at Lyrecrest next semester. OO has been talking about going back to Lyrecrest next semester anyway...
