just the good parts....
So I know a lot of you have been wondering how I've been doing up here, and I know I suck at calling people and keeping in touch. By the time I think of it, its either too late, too early, or I quickly forget. So here are a few bullet points....
I am coming home on Friday or Saturday, October 6 or 7 and will be staying until the following Tuesday. I am going to the ASU game, so could someone save their ticket for me? I expect time to hang out with most of you. Please feel free to call me anytime, even if I don't answer, the thought is appreciated.
My first Wind Ensemble concert is Sunday, October 1st. We are playing:

The Merry Wives of Windsor by Otto Nicolai
Symphony for Band by Vincent Persichetti
I am becoming quite active in U of L's chapter of Phi Mu Alpha (Zeta Kappa chapter). I was just elected Kappelmeister (song leader). I guess they figured since I'm a conducting grad student that I know what I'm doing. We'll see...... I really want Omicron Omega to come up for a visit sometime. Chapter retreat anyone.....?
This weekend U of L is playing the Miami Hurricanes. We are actually ranked higher than them right now. WTF?
Less than a month till I get to see some of you! I miss you all so much, but I am very happy here. I can't wait to share some stories.
