On October 19, there will be a fiber swap party. This means you bring the stuff from your stash -- yarn, fabric, other crafty stuff ok too -- that you have been meaning to use but probably won't, and come trade for other stuff that you want/need. partial skeins can be used to whip up some hats to give to charity, or we can laugh at them and wonder
