I didn't want to have to do this...
This journal is now Friends-only. I'm sick of checking my profile and finding that people that I don't know at all have added me. It's common courtesy to at least say hello when you add someone. I'm not interesting enough to stalk, I promise.

oh Politics...
Yesterday was Michigan's Primary...sort of. With no Democratic delegates and only 4 candidates on the ballot, Michigan's role for the Democratic side was simply to get some results in the media. On October 19, there will be a fiber swap party. This means you bring the stuff from your stash -- yarn, fabric, other crafty stuff ok too -- that you have been meaning to use but probably won't, and come trade for other stuff that you want/need. partial skeins can be used to whip up some hats to give to charity, or we can laugh at them and wonder ( Read more... ) -

I just found out that not only is Crowded House on tour for the first time in AGES, but they played in Ann Arbor on August 14th, which was 7 days before I got back.
I might be the only American my age who can sing along with the majority of their songs, and I missed this. So not cool. -

I got an email from STA travel with a bunch of sale fares. Under the Europe heading, they had a link for a tour that said "A slice of Turkey."
