So my mother is still out in Palo Alto tending to my seriously broken brother. He was in a bike accident last Sunday morning while we were gone. I got my 2007 "Insurance Usage in Review" paper in the mail. I only hit about $1200 bucks last year! (That's in billed charges ... only $400 in paid, and only $75 out of pocket for appointments and tests). Yowza! That has to be a new record for me. With my new prescription plan I only pay $50 a month for all my stuff so that's a bargain too. ( Read more... )

How nice to have a 3 day weekend. I have dr's appointments today but I'm in a small break between 2 of them at the moment. It was nice to just hang out this weekend ... we had things to do and places to go but nothing was stressful.
