I'll have you know I stopped transcribing The Tale of Ultimate Fluff in order to read this.

Ooooooh? Does this mean I need to Stay Tuned on Wednesday?

Mmmmph. Glad to see Peter's getting back to normal. I do wonder why it is that the medicine in Pete's world is so primitive and why something hasn't happened to further advance it if people die from simple colds all the time.

Hopefully in the next part we see Nonnie caught and justice be served.

Much of the medical backwardness is (in my mind) down to the fact that penicillin isn't commonly used in PW--people, for whatever reason, tend to be allergic to it more often than not, which means it never caught on. Now...TW uses it, for the agents who aren't allergic. But outside, in general medical practice, it's viewed as roughly like using arsenic.

Oh, poor Peter. This part was lovely--quiet and gentle--and just what Peter needed.

Peter definitely needed some TLC; it was a pleasure to finally ensure he received it.

*Squees with glee* Happy dance. Not quite what I suggested but I like this much, much better.
Poor frustrated Peter and Rose as well. He isn't a very good patient. So venting their frustration in a sweet loving manner was absolutely perfect! Thanks for the early post. Now I can go to bed happy. :-)

*g* Poor Peter; I think if Rose tried to, uh, help him out, he'd have fallen asleep from exhaustion. ;)

I hope you had pleasant dreams!
