*sighs happily*
The lovemaking was beautiful. I loved the bit where Peter told Rose to look at him. Such a wonderful reunion for Peter and Rose. I could practically feel the "wait" the two of them had to endure.

I'm really glad you enjoyed this. This chapter, actually, was originally the *entirety* of the story--just ten pages, all focusing on the aftermath.

oh, i do love holidays when i can stay up late (though i'm usually up this late anyway... but it means that *you* were up late and I benefited :)

This was gorgeous... the way they are together in every day life, although this is far from ordinary, it is life... recuperating from an illness is something we all have to go through at some point and so it makes it real for us... and the tendency to try to do too much too soon.

Peter is so lucky to have Rose there for him, in the same way that we know that he is there for her when Lucy is born (note to self... it's time to reread that... it's been far too long).

It's SO Rose to go behind Pete's back... and get caught doing it. And good on Pete for holding her accountable... getting Torchwood involved when they weren't asked could jeopardize the case against Nonnie when they find him because god only knows what Jake and Mickey would have done to him if they'd caught him first.

is the younger brother Michael or Matthew ?the image I have of Peter in the shower... oh my... and he's ( ... )

*g* Ah, long weekends-I do love them so.

Peter’s a stubborn bastard, as we all know-and being incapacitated, in any way for any length of time, is the worst kind of torture for him. Poor Rose absolutely has her hands full trying to keep him from overdoing it.

Peter is so lucky to have Rose there for him, in the same way that we know that he is there for her when Lucy is born (note to self... it's time to reread that... it's been far too long).

They might squabble, and even occasionally properly fight-but they love each other dearly, and will always be there for each other.

good on Pete for holding her ( ... )

Awwwwwwwwwwww... man, now what am I going to read at WORK tomorrow?

;)

Gorgeous as usual. <3 It's amazing what intimacy can do for any ill.

Stupid work, interfering with fanfic ;)

I think re-establishing intimacy with Rose is key to Peter's continued recovery--it's a sign that his life is slowly returning to normal, and that all will be well.

I love how Rose knows Peter's going to be ok when he starts getting snippy. And it was a month(!) before they could be together? No wonder he was crabby. It's nice to see things getting back to normal. I hope we get to see them nab the shooter.

The ever-reliable Carlisle barometer ;)

Poor Peter had to do completely without for a month. I suspect it had been a few days before he was shot--and then, of course, there's the 3+ weeks after he got shot. Poor guy.

That was wonderful!!! Poor Peter so worked up and wanting Rose but not being able to phyically do what he wants. And Rose just being as worked up as he is but afraid of hurting him. I feel like there is male pride at work on Peter's part in this story as well as just plain love and want of Rose.

There is a *huge* helping of male pride at work here, without a doubt. But yes, he also craves Rose something fierce.

Happy Birthday!
