"most of my spare time is now given over to trying to get the sequel to TWoT down on paper in some logical order."
YAAAAAYYY SEQUEL!!!! But.. Um. I know we don't pay you anything and that you write these wonderful stories to express your obvious genius. But... Look You... if you break them up... [glares]. But YAAAAAAY SEQUEL!
Hey--just because I beta Chaos Theory doesn't mean I'm as evil as its author! ;)
Nah, I got all of my Peter/Rose cruelty out of the way in the middle of TWoT. From here on out, I'm writing only happy stuff. Well, not necessarily happy, but not gut-wrenching, make-the-readers-cry-in-a-bad-way stuff.
That was wonderful. Now I must go back and see how I missed any reference to an "Annie". Darn, I'll have to read all of it again.
SEQUEL!!! Woohoooo! This is very good news indeed. Of course it means the beginning of flailing. Pre-story tremors one could say. You're not a closet RTD are you? It's so safe in the 'small stories' world because there are parameters. New fic means you could move past those and feel the need to tell us 'it will be the most heartbreaking series yet.' Okay yes I'm fishing. I'll stop. Sorry. :)
By the way, this story is one of those great small tender moments. You do those so very well. Thank you.

Don't hunt too hard--I'm pretty sure Annie's only been referenced in discussions in the comment section. The name came about as a result of Susan Sarandon's character in Bull Durham--the Annie of the story fills roughly the same role, that of an older woman who taught Peter many, many things. Including how to use a bowl and brush to shave :)
SEQUEL!!! Woohoooo!
Indeed. It's time for everyone to learn exactly how Peter wound up in London.

awww, so sweet. I love it when men go through the bowl and brush ritual, there's something that's just fantastic about it. Are we ever going to hear more about Annie? my boiler just got fixed so this is truly a lovely monday, Peter and Rose AND hot water..yay!

I find it dead sexy, truth be told. I have no idea why--it just *is*.

Maybe? Rose will meet her at some point; I just am not quite sure when. And of course the full backstory there, between her and Peter, will have to come out...which may be Peter telling Rose of her one night by the fire.

Good heavens--why on earth would I break them up?! No, no--the sequel is Peter's story on how he winds up in London. :)

I don't know. Plot device? Source Angst? Meta on the Paparazzi? Proximity to Chaos Theory? Pure Evil?

Let's say I'm working on it ;)
