I did not want this to end. For some reason this little glimpse into their life is my favorite so far. It could be my mood but more likely it's your incredible ability to put me right there with them. This was so tender and so very very Peter. Thank you.

You're quite welcome. I adore this little piece--it's easily the most relaxed of the ones I've posted, and I think it acts as a nice chaser for the intensity of last week's. Plus, I love writing Peter fully relaxed and at his ease.

He was fairly certain no one had followed them as they had fled northwards; certainly, there had been no headlights behind him during the last fifty miles of the journey.
Does the heightened paranoia bother Peter, or does he just cpnsider it baggage woth dealing with to be with Rose?

Partially, yes--but it's also an indication of how deeply he cares for Rose, and how much he's putting himself on the line here.

aha, you did write glade sex! very hot I might add, sex in a potentially public space can be a mood killer, but this was secluded enough and an important enough space to Peter that it is no problem at all. They seem to have a penchant for discussing big/scary things in the afterglow, don't they? Glad to see they've learned to hold tight a bit and listen instead of freaking out right away.
Judging by Rose's reaction to Graeme, they've been over to dinner? Also, while I was watching the new episode of doctor who and found myself briefly wondering what peter's reaction to adipose would be *hides in cave of nerdy shame* that would most certainly be a crack fic ;)

I didn't think of TWoT during the ep up until that certain point at the end (which I'm not going to describe here but I assume you know what I mean). Specifically it reminded me of the beginning of TWoT and the middle chapters o' doom (post-Big Reveal).

Nothing on Thursday, I'm afraid--I'm on the road this week, and haven't even had time to work on the stuff I *need* to work on. So things are looking grim for the hoard of plot bunnies!
