The pump is actually not broken. The AC Adapter, however, is. No big deal. I had enough batteries in the battery power pack to use that. It wasn't working yesterday because the pack had opened up and the batteries weren't making contact. In my panic I didn't realize that was the problem so I just assumed it was the actual pump. I am totally phoning it in today at work. It's 2:30 and I've done roughly 30 minutes of actual work today. I have been so busy since I got back from my trip this weekend that I can't even think straight. I have a confession to make, I really want to become a complete recluse. I have a big desire to stop answering the phone and to stay locked up in my house and not talk to anyone. Thank you all who have responded. It is nice to know that I am not alone or crazy with my feelings. The good news is that if we follow her around with food she will eat it. I'm still mildly panicked about the financial sitch, but thanks to all of you who responded to my hysterics. We will figure this out, and after I figured it out I can just mentally sum the money we will still owe on Jack's car plus his new car to equal his car payment.
