L'Incendie - a House/Cameron fanvid

Oct 11, 2008 14:28

Here's my first House vid in...over a year. I've been trying to get my muse back and then I heard this song by Vanessa Paradis (better known to Americans as Johnny Depp's other half and the mother of his children), watched the vid and thought I'd give it a whirl...just to try and get back into the flow of vidding ( Read more... )

YAY! Another vid from you! :D

hehe, I love it. The song, it's awesome. I never really like a foreign song for HCam, I changed my mind, french sounds great for this couple. GREAT JOB! I love the editing and the coloring of the clips! :D

Thanks so much :) I've never liked foreign language vids either...but I just love this song and, honestly, after listening to this song countless times, I started to hear it as English... :)

Thanks very much :) I've desperately been wanting to get back into vidding and I just needed a catalyst. :) I've got several in the works that just never made it past the first two or three lines that I might get back to...

Yay, awesome. I realized that for vids you need a good song and an overall layout in your head, you know!? + lots of time of course.. I hope to see more of your vids :)

Oh, yeah, tons of time needed. Which, I don't actually have but when you're a procrastinator, you can make it :) I've got one based on my fanfic in the works (and has been for a long time), 'What If' by Emile Autumn...'Angels in the Room' by Delta Goodrem...and I think...oh, yeah, a goofy vid planned for 'Creepin' up on You' by Darren Hayes :)

Hopefully it won't take me another year before finishing my next one :)

Actually we haven't talked in a while! How's school?

No, we haven't, have we? I've been...avoiding LJ posts for about a week...and watching tons of movies. :) School's going okay...though my art history class is starting to bore me. I don't remember my professor being this boring when I took his Impressionism class. His lectures this time are not as good, almost as though he's not as confident over the material as he was with the Impressionism stuff (the theme of the class is 'Black Atlantic' - basically we look at how slavery and Africans were depicted in art during the 18th and 19th centuries)...

And now that I've taken a physical anthropology class, all the scientific/medical bone stuff in Bones makes perfect sense :)

How have things been on your end? Have your classes started up yet?

Yeah, sometimes a class can just make you want to pull out your hair. There were a few that I couldn't make myself go to, just because they didn't really challenge me or offer anything interesting ( ... )

There were a few that I couldn't make myself go to, just because they didn't really challenge me or offer anything interesting.Oh, I have one of those...It's the lecture session of my Anthropology class. The professor made the mistake of saying that we don't have to show up to class since he doesn't take roll as long as we show up for tests...and well...I've had a hard time bringing myself to go since then. It's not like it's all that hard though ( ... )
