Fandom life is always more epic than the reality. So, you know... Don't feel bad about it :) And never give up. And I'm not the most religious person but I have to say that sometimes prayers do help; heh.

True...besides Fandom Life is more fun than real life some of the time :)

Oh, I'm not giving up...just getting pissed off :) Employers are making it impossible for recent college grads to find a job. :-\ Demanding years of experience in an entry level position....stupid employers....
I used to have the same trouble. I only got this job because the magazine I'm now working with was just established 2 years ago by this big media group.
Maybe that's what you should do? Look for new companies? It'll better if it's owned by a big group. Just my 2 cents :)
I've been trying. Looking everywhere I possibly can for job listings. Even applied to the local workforce agency. The problem is that the job market here in the States still sucks...and doesn't expect to get back to normal levels for several more years :-\
As for the rl stuff, good luck with the job hunt, and hopefully good luck in film school.
P.S , How is WoW, I have never got into the online gaming thing, is mostly a console rpg girl. I just like to beat the crap out of monsters and not really into the whole social scene, would I enjoy WoW or would I be wasting my money?

Thanks. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll find something before July...my student loan deferment ends then....
How is WoW, I have never got into the online gaming thing, is mostly a console rpg girl. I just like to beat the crap out of monsters and not really into the whole social scene, would I enjoy WoW or would I be wasting my money?Well...I am usually a console RPG'er as well...but my friends got me into WoW. There are a lot of similarities between regular RPGs and WoW. You have to level your way up, collect stuff, upgrade your armor and stuff. And the lore of the game...there's a lot of it. The series has been around for 15 years...with the MMO being around for 5. And since it's online, things change a lot. In the next expansion, the entire world is going to be changed due to what happens...which will be incredibly cool
( ... )
Thanks for the info, I think I might try it. Hopefully the gameplay is fun and as long as there is a story-line I can follow I will be happy.
I haven't bought a ps3 yet, due hardly any jrpgs coming out and I don't think there will be that many, which is sad. So if I want to keep rpging I am going toward the pc route. :(
There is a bit of a learning curve, especially if you haven't played online RPGs before, but it doesn't take that long to get the hang of it. :)
I've had my PS3 for...um....how long have they been out? I've had mine about that long. I usually play more than just RPGs though. I like the action-adventure games as well. Currently, I am loving Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Assassin's Creed II.
If they'd ever release Final Fantasy XIII.....*sigh* they keep saying it'll be 2010...but as to when, who knows. It'll probably be the end of the year if it does come out this year. And I wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back once more. It's all XBox's fault. They insisted that they must have the game on their system...even though it's a little too powerful for it. So now SquareEnix has to figure out a way to make it compatible with the XBox without loosing any of the awesomeness.... *sigh*
Yeah....HCam in the glory years. *Sigh* I miss that show. It was so awesome.
Yeah, I'll still watch episodes from season 1-3. Though I haven't watched any in a while. But if they were on...and I was bored, yep, I'll watch them :)
