starsandgraces sent me the mix for this story about a month ago and I've been listening to it nonstop since then. Never, when I signed up for this, did I think that an actual song would be ( Read more... )

I'm just super-glad to have been helpful, despite the unfortunate MADNESS all around. The fic came out excellently, and I'm flattered to have played any part in its creation! <3

I'm so glad you liked it, and the notes too! McCoy and Joanna were some of the most fun parts to write, it's true. Thank you so much!

I really loved this story -- so much so, that I'm now working my way through the rest of your work, starting with the long stuff. Thus far, I've read Eight Ways From Sunday and a number of its associated shorts, which I'm also enjoying very much, especially for the characterization of Hermione and the fleshing-out of some minor characters in delightful ways, and Imagine Me and You, which was very sweet and fun.

I've also been reading and enjoying your meta -- I like the long thinky thoughts, especially about shows that I am deeply ambivalent about, like Glee. I've friended you -- but feel no obligation to friend back. I don't post very much, and what I do is rarely fannish content.

Thank you for writing such lovely stories!

Wow, thank you! I'm really flattered, and I'm glad you liked the Trek story!

EWFS is the first story I posted, so I'm really pleased it holds up, and I'm still writing in that 'verse with my HP stuff. As you can tell, I pretty much adore Hermione. And I'm very excited that you like Ryan and Simon as well! I ended up writing a lot of historical AUs for those two.

Yay, meta too! That's exciting, since sometimes I wonder if anyone is reading it, so thanks!

Thank you so much!

I have to say, just discovering this amazing fic, I absolutely love it. I adored Joanna's characterization the most, especially as most fics. AUs or not, don't focus on her in any way. I feel really excited finishing this, for two reasons; the characterizations and subtelty of McCoy/Kirk, and the fact that it IS McCoy/Kirk. I don't read many McCoy/Kirk fics and so this one just blows my mind, a bit.

I'm really excited that you read the fic even though you're not a big K/Mc shipper; that's quite a compliment! There isn't a lot of focus on Jo, it's true, though part of that is that a lot of folks suspect that she doesn't exist in the more compressed AOS timeline. (That said, a lot of us like to write her anyway!)

Thanks so much!
