I shall definitely get to reading this and the other Rymons when I have free time, probably tomorrow when I'm sleepy/hungover/making New Year's chili. The title of this one sounds absolutely perfect for Ryan and Simon. And I think I need to apply next year because I want West Side Story slash badly after watching it again (very nearly any pairing from that movie would be scrumptious).

Yuletide is totally so much fun. You're responsible for not one, but two small fandoms getting some more fic-the one you wrote for and the one you requested. And on top of that, you get to root around in the new stories for canons you never even would have thought to look for fic for. Because you wrote the fic for that one person, all the other comments are just gravy. It really is my favorite fandom experience; certainly the most rewarding.

Read the story! It was great.. just what I needed! Did you listen to Simon when he was last on KIIS with Ryan? Ryan asked Simon, "Do you miss me in places?" And Simon's all, "What? I hope this isn't going on the air?" And Ryan repeated "Do you miss me in places?" Simon was totally shocked and Ryan explained that he was asking Simon when he was out of town or on vacation if he thought of Ryan.... and Simon said HE DID! :) It was total Rymon.. big time... :)

Thank you so much for this rec! It really made me smile. I figured that there'd be a lot of David Cook-related stuff written this year so I'm happy to have inject a bit of Rymon into Yuletide :D And that people enjoyed it! I'm pretty sure I have you/this to thank for all the comments I've recieved on it so thank you again!
