Jake and I are going to see the Hip in Chicago in three weeks!!  Yay for the Hip, Yay for seeing Avi, and Yay for a boyfriend who surprises me with things like this ;)  ALSO yay for him taking off work that Saturday night, which i can promise you does not normally happen.

UPDATE:  I've pushed back my unemployment date until mid-August -- we got funded for that project :)  Still need to find a new place to live, but that shouldn't be a problem.  Craigslist hasn't failed me yet!

Bad news:  right now, as of June 1, i'm both unemployed and homeless.  SUPER.  Hey I hear I love to move.  Hopefully we'll hear back about this grant soon so I can make plans for, uh, living type stuff.  I really need to bite the bullet and find one of those "real jobs" I've heard so much about.  They might suck in some respects, but at least I'd ( Read more... )

I am OBSESSED with going to Bonnaroo this year.  OBSESSED.  Four days of frickin amazing music and camping -- so worth the money.  Now I just have to figure out where I'll be in June...

I mean really people.  Sam Roberts will be there.  Cripes.
