They move unnoticed as buildings, streets, whole cities slide by -- out of step with reality. Out of synch with time.

It's dizzying, and beautiful. Light is frozen in air, everything suspended in perfect, frozen grace.

And when the world stops spinning, they are at their destination.

Gemma had said they were coming, and she had to take her word for it because she couldn't tell these things. Of course Gemma didn't tell her what they were coming for and that made her scowl, she had this mistrust of anything Constantine was involved in.

She did say she'd help, and she knows Gemma is dying to help but she doesn't want the other girl getting involved if she can help it. She wouldn't admit to it but she feels protective of her cousin.

"Fine, I trust Dr. Fate. What do you need me to do?"
