Watching the sky eventually bears fruit.

In the form of a man glowing green. Approaching with his hands out and open, in a gesture of peace.

Descending slowly and non-threateningly.

"Tell him not to step on our soil Diana or I will shoot him." Artemis' fingers do an impatient dance on her bow.

She keeps her face straight and flies up to meet John.

"Do not land, Artemis has ressurected the rule of death for man who sets foot on the island at least until this conflict is over." It's plain to see she dissaproves of this idea.

John just... stares for a moment.

"You can't be serious."

He's not a fan of hovering over people to talk down to them, so he descends pretty close to the earth anyway.

"I come in peace..." He blanks on whatever the proper title is for Artemis. "With a short reprieve from the American government."

Hal descends towards the island as well, as John leaves.

"I heard. No landing on the island."

This is not negotiation business as far as she knows so Diana joins him in the air, Artemis is not happy with that but she can't fly without the sandals.

"Hal, I did not know you were coming."

"You and your people need me, Diana. I am here for you. Even if your people don't want it." His face is firm. "No one will die on either side today."

She puts a hand on his arm.

"It is not only my sisters, I worry what this will mean for the League and for the Lantern Corp here on earth. It is not that I do not want my allies here with me, it is that I do not want these political matters brought to bear on them."
