The time had nearly come and Cheshire couldn't have been more pleased. While retrieving her less than charming associates had been something of a bother, every item gained brought her one step closer to retribution. That thought alone had been enough to keep her from breaking any more of Richard's bones before everyone had been gathered together

"I need to send you earlier then the others." She's obviously not pleased. "The Archer and others," she spits. "Have made things more complicated." She smiles, and strangely, it's a warm smile. "Ready to reclaim your daughter, my dear?"

Roy was making things complicated? Hardly a surprise, at least to her. But it's the smile that Dark Angel gives her that Cheshire finds more unnerving. It nearly causes her to second-guess her decision. If something did go wrong...

No. She can't allow herself to think that way. It was too late now and there was no turning back. She would finally have Lian again as she was meant to and she would make Roy suffer for all he had done. Bringing Donna Troy misery and possibly ridding the world of a few unsuspecting heroes would only make her vengeance all the sweeter.
