The city by the bay hums with its daily activities. Traffic is a little slow, but that's to be expected at this hour. University students argue in and out of the classroom. Waiters and waitresses take lunch orders for seafood or vegetarian cuisine. The skies are clear, and a light breeze ruffles along the winding streets. Just another pleasant

"What the...?"

Bette looks out the window and for a few moments is just transfixed by the scene. It's like a crazy snow rainbow out there. The pretty colors .... She just stares at them as they fall....

.... pretty .....

Oh. Whoa. Damn.

Activating her comms, she calls out to the other Titans, "Hey guys... Go look out a window. We've got work to do." It's easier just to have everyone look outside than it is to try to explain. Mainly because "really awesome rainbow snow" is likely just going to get her more questions. Getting changed quickly, she makes her way toward the outside, looking for someone to give her a lift off the island.

Starfire flies out of a window, landing near Flamebird, staring up at the sky. "X'hal--what madness is this?"

"I have no idea but it's really... awesome."

And possibly for the first time in her life, she means it the way it was originally meant instead of what it has become.

She almost gets caught up in looking at all of the flakes again, before she looks to Starfire.

Woah. Starfire.

"... I don't know. We're going to have lots of accidents out there, though. Lots of people needing help." Some part of her mind can already hear people saying that this is from God - a blessing or a warning to the gay friendly city.

"Yes." Starfire holds a hand out to Flamebird. "Shall we go? Or would you prefer to take the ferry?"

The Golden Gate Bridge traffic is a mess--the snow is like Kryptonite to these California drivers. Angry motorists honk at their fellow commuters who are now blocking the lanes, as EMS tries vainly to thread their way through the logjam of vehicles.

"Someone with interpersonal skills want to start working on the Bridge before people start rioting?" Jesse calls to the other Titans.

"Flamebird and I will," Starfire calls back. "People like me." She changes course and lands on the bridge, smiling reassuringly. "Hello! Please, do not panic. We'll help."

Flamebird? Interpersonal skills? Well, out of the choices at the moment... It isn't a bad one.

"Jesse, can you two help the EMTs get in here? We're going to need them, I think. If you need help, let Starfire know." They're both strong and fast... It's much more in their scope than her's.

"Everyone! Can I have your attention please?" The first step in a situation like this is to give everyone something to do. Less likelihood of panic or riot if everyone has a task.

Cassie is on her way to the Tower when she flies into... rainbow snow.

"Ooooh-kay, apparently the Gods are on crack today."

She activates her comm unit.

"Wonder Girl reporting in. I know people have got to be freaking out out there. Where do you need me?"

"Wonder Girl, this is Starfire. Proceed to the Bay Bridge--Jesse Quick could use assistance with the traffic problems there. Flamebird and I are taking care of the Golden Gate."

"If traffic problems are all we get, we'll be lucky," Jesse says. "So far this stuff feels like regular snow other than its colors. We could use some analysis."

"I'll contact Cyborg. Starfire out."

Delirium is skipping across the water, hands held high.

Bart is zipping along, having miraculously procurred a touque and scarf from somewhere, playing in the snow between bouts of saving people sliding on the ice.

He catches sight of Delirium and stops dead.

"You... you're the girl from my dream!!"
