Kara Zor-L usually isn't the type to get all dressed up. It's not that she doesn't like to, it stems more from the fact that she doesn't really have many chances to, what with having a lack of a private life. Granted, this is something I'm working on changing, along with making Starrware a more relevant company for today. Still, she arrives wearing a very beautiful dress, and carrying a gift for Todd and Damon, with a bright smile on her face.
"Excuse me, ma'am," a low and quite sonorous voice remarks from near Kara's shoulder, "but you've been standing here a minute alone, which seems a pity to me. Everything all right?"
Kara turns her head just a little to see a handsome man looking right at her. She offers him a warm smile and nods her head. "Everything's perfectly alright," she says, her voice light. "I'm just not in the habit of attending all that many social functions."
His smile comes easily, sincerely, spreading warmth through his expression. "Well, if that's by choice, I understand, ma'am, but if it's not, I gotta say that's a shame. If you like, I'd be happy to escort you to a seat. If you don't mind navigating."
In the young man's right hand is the handle of a long white cane, the sort carried by the visually impaired. But yes, he still seems to be looking right at her.
