Normally, in a gathering like this, Fauna would be content to be in the kitchen, staying quiet and utilizing the talents that DON'T include sprouting claws or wings.

However, with the troubles going on and the senior members out on assignment, she's watching the crowd, in full mask and costume.

Zachary appeared in a puff of smoke at the entrance to the tower. He knew they'd had their share of magic users in their ranks, so teleporting directly inside could cause problems more than likely.

He hit what he guessed was the doorbell. "It's Zatara. I'm here for the...audition?"

"Hello Zatara. I'm Fauna. I'll certainly escort you around."

Mia wasn't really looking forward to this. She wasn't really into these kind of things...seeing as she drop-kicked some creep that tried to feel her up at a function of Ollie's once.

She pulled on costume's collar, she wanted to be tracking down Merlyn, not playing hostess. She then noticed Fauna. Thank God, someone who hated these things as much as she did. "Hey Fauna," she said walking up to her. She then noticed Zatara. She hadn't really heard much about him, other than he could be stuck up. "Hi," she said extending her hand, "Zatara, right?"

Donna sat over at a table reserved for senior members. After the current Crisis, it was good for her to do something mindless. Not that this was mindless at all, she enjoyed this sort of thing.

She smiled genuinely and waited for someone to come up to her, she was sure that the younger heros would have a lot of questions for her.

Flamebird is just watching from a distance. She's not at all sure how she feels about this whole thing. If it had been as simple as a try out... Wrinkling her nose, she frumps a bit, perched on one of the statues in the front of the Tower.

There is a crackle in the air near her. "You are troubled?" asks Starfire.

"Mmmmm."

Flamebird looks up, "Just..." Pressing her lips together, "Just feeling weird about auditions."

Cassie Sandsmark crossed her arms, sitting floating in mid-air, watching with bright eyes as the potential newbies streamed in. Her golden lariat lay limply by her side and on her lap was a fashion magazine.

Which shouldn't have been there, but sometimes a girl just needed something to flip through.

Donna was bored out of her skull when she noticed Cassie off by herself. She breathed a sigh of relief, someone for her to talk to at last. "Ca-Wondergirl!" she called out, waving from her spot at the table.

Cassie's head snapped up. "Hey!" she said. She bound over to Donna and threw her arms around Donna. "You can call me Cassie, Donna. I've been public for awhile." She smiles. Cassie had kept up the secret identity thing, but coming from a line of women who believed in the truth...she didn't feel right lying about who she was. Ultimately, she was thankful that she was a public superhero.

Donna let out a laugh, "Of course, how I could forget?" she too, had gone public, as keeping a secret identity was a pain the ass to keep up with. She hugged the younger girl back, "So," she said, "Seen anyone that will be a good addition to the team?" she asked, "I really haven't been paying attention, it's so boring sitting here."

Nightwing's keeping his own counsel at the moment, sitting in an adjoining room watching the proceedings via the secure camfeeds, making note of certain individuals' body language. How someone carries his or herself can speak volumes more than the words that fall from their lips.

"What is with you bat-people and the voyeurism?"

What? Like he wouldn't know where to find him.

"Call it a bad habit," he replies, without pause. It's not like he's difficult to find - and he figures, those who need to find him know where he'll be.

"Not like you have many good ones," he teased.

"Find out anything useful so far?"

The Justi-Flyer was parked down the block and around the corner, hoping to avoid any parking tickets this time.

Mikey had gotten half way to the tower and turned around three times before finally getting up the courage to answer the open casting call. Pandora wasn't helping. She was used to Vulcan being a solitary soldier, a lone wolf. But when your mentor gets a giant hole blown into his abdomen less than an hour after kidnapping you, and deciding you would be the next in line...? Yeah, your circumstance can be considered atypical.

So there they were, in a corner of the room: the over-armored, barely-15 year old boy with a giant sword strapped to his back, and the curvaceous woman dressed like some slutty-secretary sitting mechanically in a chair next to him. Even in this crowed they seemed slightly awkward, and out of place.

Kid Flash is on hand to meet the newcomer.

"Hey there! Cool sword. Are you here for the audition?"

Clearly, he must have some other plausible explanations in mind, if he has to ask.

"Uh, yeah, I guess," Mikey replied, his eyes not quite meeting Kid Flash's. He shifted slightly under his...tunic? Over-zealous cape? Giant bib? He really wasn't used to all this. It'd just been him and Pan for the past few months. Plus? He was more than a little intimidated by the numerous super heroes.

Pandora, however, was not intemidated. She stared down Kid Flash with the haughty incredulity of an over-protective mother.
