One of these days, Ben decided, he'd really invest in this whole 'cellphone' thing that had swept the world while he was away training. Mari had been lounging in her oversized bathtub when the phone rang. She lifted the white and gold handset from it's perch and brought it to her ear, lowering the music blaring on her state-of-the-art cd player by remote control.

"This is Mari."

"Oh good. I'd hate to think I'd dialed the Shriners." Ben said with amusement. It was good to hear her voice, even over this really crappy Gotham Telecom payphone. "You got a few?" he asked her.

"Ben!" Mari's voice brightened considerably when she heard his voice over the phone. "For you, I've got more than a few. What's going on, handsome?"
