"You look like you're about ready to meet your executioner."

The lighthearted comment comes from above. The secretary won't be buzzing her in anytime soon. Bruce has come out to intercept her instead.

Bruce's choice of words were ironic considering that her husband, who looked like him, may want her dead.

She wasn't sure whether to hug him or if the setting wasn't appropriote and she should shake his hand instead. She settled for a warm hand on shoulder.

"Bruce, it's been forever".

It's his company, his building, and his office. That means he can pretty much get away with whatever he wants. That includes taking her hand from the shoulder and planting a kiss on her knuckles.

"Oh longer than that," he teases. "I heard you were back in town. Why don't you come on in?"

Bruce's show of affection tore away most of Julie's fears and doubts about coming here. She felt....safe. Like she could relax and let down her gaurd.

"Nothing in the world would please me more" Julie said as they walked into his office.

Julie glanced around and saw different pictures on his desk. One of the faces was quite familiar.

"How is Dick doing?"
