I can't believe I am doing this. Why am I here?
Julie Madison knew exactly why she was here. Here being Wayne Enterprises. She wanted funding to renovate Gotham Playhouse on Crime Alley, and she needed a charitable organization to help fund it. Wayne Enterprises was an obvious choice. Only problem, Julie Madison and Bruce Wayne were once engaged to be married. That and Bruce Wayne looks just like Julie's current estranged husband who is trying to kill her. Nothing akward at all.
Kathy had offered to come with Julie for this meeting. Kathy was being very protective of her. Julie told Kathy there was some things she must do alone.
I can't chicken out of this. My god, it's just Bruce. You've run into eachother since you broke up. That was years ago though. Now I need to ask him to for help.
Julie had stood outside of the building for almost 1/2 hour, almost giving up and going home. Now she was in the lobby waiting for some secretary to buzz her into Wayne's office.
I'll make my spiel, and he'll listen. Wait, isn't Crime Alley where....
He never used to talk about it, and I never pushed the issue. What if the whole thing is too much for him. No. Stop overthinking it. Bruce will be glad to help. He'll be glad to see you again. You've done nothing wrong. Nothing except decieve Kathy, abandon your country and steal a top secret weapon code which you have now lost.
That woman....Stormcrow? Stormclaw? She said she would take care of it. I somehow trust her, but I am worried. No. Stop. No thinking about Jon, the ring or weapons. Today is about Gotham Playhouse.
Julie tapped her knees contemplating chickening out, waiting for the secretary to buzz her into Bruce's office.
