Midnite sounded only partially irritated. Ritual work always distracted him.
Hopping to the side of the innermost circle, the rabbit turned to face the Englishman.
"Those cigarettes will try to kill you again. I can smell it on your breath. Cancer is so very pungent."
His tiny red eyes glittered wickedly.

Biting his own paw, he let his blood flow and mingle with the grisly diagram upon the floor. He let memories of human existence roll through his mind and he focused fiercely upon thoughts. It was Constantine's turn now. He was the mage that would conduct the invocation.
