Blood, flies and a number of less appealing substances were smeared across the walls and floor in disturbing patterns. A human sacrifice would have been quicker, but it didn't seem to sit well with everyone involved. The animal corpses nailed to the rafters attested to the compromise. This was black magic and it was ugly.

Sitting in the middle of the horrific display was a small black rabbit. It's nose wiggled as it looked about the room.
