Kon winces, watching the flow of people. He glances at Cassie, next to him, and reaches over to squeeze her hand tightly, winking. "Showtime," he says, opening the door, to hop out, offering a hand to anyone who needs it.
"Doesn't seem like a museum to me. Just a place with old games." Bette is grinning, as she slides onto the edge of the back of the truck, letting her lengs dangle over the side.
Cassie doesn't take Kon's hand yet - this can't seem set up to the townspeople - but instead hops down of her own accord, dusting her red, star-spangled jeans off.
"Hey Connor!" Jake Harlow calls out mockingly. "Go long!" Harlow is one of those guys who makes faking that you are bad at football or just not interested in cleaning his clock very difficult.
Cassie approaches Conner a little shyly and grins up at him. They're surrounded by a gaggle of guys and girls, and she notes a few guys appreciatively checking out Cassie in her red Wonder Girl costume. She gives them a saucy grin before looking at Kon as if to ask him how they were going to play this meeting.
"My, um, Uncle Jon can make sure to get the truck looked at for you, Wonder Girl."
God, how does Clark manage this crap?
"If you want, we could go grab a soda or a cup of coffee or something." Connor jerked his head in the direction of the grocery store. "The deli's got a counter, and they make really great cherry pie."

He took her hand, smiling a nervous smile he didn't have to totally fake, and led the way past the football players.
