Jay offers a hand. "As long as you're on our side, Arion, we're pleased to accept your aid."

Arion nods.

"The Witch Queen has covered her tracks well," he says. "We know not who she is. But yes, we have come to believe that Gemma Marsters may well be her."

"That is insane!" She looks from Arion to Occult and over to Hector.

"I would NOT do that to Hector so you can all just stop thinking I'm going to turn evil any minute now."

I believe no such thing, Gemma Marsters, who moves to stand by her side. Lord Arion of Atlantis, you and whatever allies you have hiding in the shadows are mistaken.

He says it as a categorical fact, confident of its truth.

Occult doesn't budge from his position. He stnads aloof from the tense conversation.

"Fate's correct. We need a lot more proof to go with an accusation that big, and in any case Gemma ... this Gemma ... isn't guilty of anything."

Jay says nothing, but puts a reassuring hand on Gemma's shoulder. He has faith in her.

"This is not the same woman I saw in my vision." He glances at Arion. "What's our goal back here in this time?"
