The reporter ducks as an explosion lights up behind him.
"Tom? Tom, are you still getting us? It looks like - yes, it looks like the Ray, the superhero, is attacking Chicago in what appears to be a random onslaught of violence -"
Ray goes flying - hard - from the shot to the junk, although Plaz is going to have some burns for his trouble.
But he's up again faster than he normally would, flying into the air and gaining speed - and firing at vehicles, gas lines, anything that'll explode and give his opposition things to keep them busy...
Arisia encases Ray in a green bubble. Stopping the explosions and the fires are important, yes but she'd much rather stop him from causing anymore than he has already.
But whoever's pulling Ray's strings - and the look on his face makes it clear it's not him, or at least not the Ray they know - has figured out that Oan green energy is still light, at least partially, and he starts hammering at the bubble with yellow-spectra pulses while trying to unravel the energy with his own power.
