Bart's there, allright - and extra-hungry, having spent hours at super-speed just recently helping to partially reconstruct the Alcatraz facility to hold the escaped supervillains his Titan team-mates were subduing.

Even the normally sleep-inducing turkey can't slow him down.

"I still think they should have simply invited us," grumbles Starfire, adding more stuffing to her plate.

"I think J'onn's time working with Blue Beetle and Booster Gold warped his sense of humor a little. But still, it's kinda funny."

"A false alarm is not funny," she states firmly, "but this is good food."

"So, I'm taking a wild little guess here and saying that the only emergency there actually is has to do with an overabundance of food." Cassie raises an eyebrow as she arrives.

"Yes." Starfire looks only mildly peevish at this point. "But it is delicious food."

Cassie grins at Starfire. She's well aware of Star's lack of sense of humor. "I'm not going to be arguing with that," Cassie replies as she heads straight for the desserts. "Or with the fact that our invitation here was...interesting...to put it mildly."

"Kryll," comes the muttered response.

Thanksgiving with Ma and Pa had to be put on hold. Whatever this was, between the viral outbreak, Greta's death, and missing out on Ma's strawberry pie, someone was in for a world of hurt.

Kon was kind of hoping this was an Apokalips thing. He owed that big monkey Kalibak. He stepped out of the teleporters, cracking his knuckles.

Bart's there to greet Kon. He's holding a turkey drumstick in one hand, and a soda in the other. "Hey, Kon!" he manages, between bites. "No invasion, just food. Lots of food."

Kon's aggressive pose softened immediately, tilting his head to one side in confusion.

"There's no aliens?"

"I am here," points out Kory. She is sitting at a smaller table with other Titans.

Taking a biiiig sip of his newly found can of Zesti, he staves off his tiredness, not having eaten much of his meal at all.

Not that it doesn't taste and smell any good, he just needs a few more moments to shake off the mental cobwebs.

Well, that among other things on his mind.

Aurora alternates between being at his side and in the kitchen, helping out Ma. Everyone's eating, everyone's celebrating the end of this latest crazy man's revenge plot.

"Everyone here seems so relaxed, considering what just happened."

"Why, what just happened? Did someone drop one of the pies?"

Plague? That was, like, two weeks ago. That can't be what she means.

Travis finally gets back from his Tara-assisted disappearing act, dry, in clean clothes, and a little less stumbly. If only a little. Appetite seems to be no problem, given that Tara seems to just keep bringing him more food, almost as if he were one of the speedsters.

Green Arrow comes up behind him.

How long you been running on green-juice, kid?

Travis doesn't look back, but he does smile. "Works out to two weeks, give or take."

Ollie pats him on the back.

You'll probably get another two helpings into you.

Don't make a habit of it. I hate to see a good Lantern self-destruct.
