Getting Ready for Sunday Afternoon Gaming
It has been a somewhat more typical April day here in Ottawa today, the temperature expected to hit the 14oC mark. As I type this, the sun is out, it's a bit breezy outside, but things seem mostly peaceful on the weather front. I'm content to be indoors once more today, as my foot with the diabetic ulcer is hurting quite a bit and my right shoulder is giving me grief as well.
In something of a surprise to me, I'll be gaming with the Sunday afternoon gaming group this afternoon; the players should be arriving within the next hour or so. I'm quite looking forward to this. The group hasn't gamed since very late December, 2022 or early January of this year (I'd have to go back in the blog to check it out). Came as a bit of a shock to hear from Tammy that she would be able to game today, and we're also likely to be gaming next Sunday as well.
Rather than continuing on with the Coriolis - The Second Age RPG campaign that was just re-launching when we went on hiatus, the Sunday gaming group is going to start up a new campaign of the DC Heroes RPG campaign set at the Legion Academy during the pre-Crisis days of the Legion of Super-Heroes.
I'm quite looking forward to this afternoon's game, and am hoping that the Sunday gaming group is back in action now on a regular basis.
Heading upstairs for a cup of tea, and going to put my feet up while I relax for a bit on the couch.
