Computer Dead, Nervous Breakdown Ahead

My laptop has died with all data lost. system beeps four times, then message appears that there's no hard drive.

In the middle of all the other crap I'm dealing with today... and I feel like everything is out of control.  ::nervous breakdown::

Sorry to hear that. I had the same thing last year but luckily I managed to get in briefly to recover the data. I now has a RAID 1 enabled NAS box to make sure I have everything backed up.
